Founded in 1978 -TEM is a second-generation private company and I am excited to continue along the journey as youth and technology engages the fundamentals in becoming a third generation powerhouse.
Teri joined her Fathers business in 1986 where she was responsible for the estimating, earthworks calculations, budgets, claims, payroll and the Company’s financials.
Teri became the Managing Director in 1998 and since this time has managed the growth and planning of the business to ensure a successful future for TEM.
Teri is the current chair of The Property Council of Australia’s Townsville Branch and was awarded Townsville Business Women’s Circle – Businesswomen of the year for 2017.
Michael has an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering; he worked as a Civil Designer at a local Consulting Engineering firms for 14 years before joining Townsville Earthmoving.
With a vast knowledge of project management, estimating skills and his design ability, he can identify potential cost and time saving early in the projects planning/design phase and during construction.
Michael is responsible for all civil and major infrastructure projects at Townsville Earthmoving
Dan has started from the ground up and it is inevitable he will follow in his Grandfather’s footsteps. Dan joined Townsville Earthmoving in 2011. After completing his carpentry apprenticeship.
With over 11 years in the industry, he maintains a heavy focus on administration of construction, coordination and services for all projects, business management, risk management and subcontractor management.
In addition to Dan’s industry knowledge from working in the field, he has also furthered his business knowledge by completing his Advanced Diploma in Business Administration course.
Dan’s urge to broaden his skills saw him integrate into an internal role and was an integral part of implementing a complete IBMS.
Tegan joined the Townsville Earthmoving team in 2012 where she started as the Receptionist. Tegan became the Administrations Manager in 2016 and has been responsible for managing all areas of front office including payroll, systems administration, fuel reconciliation, land sales and communications.
She has helped the growth of the business to ensure a successful future for TEM and was awarded Townsville Business Women’s Circle – Education Bursary Award in 2020.
Wes is a Builder by trade with over 25 years’ experience in the Building & Civil Construction industry supervising civil and large infrastructure projects including: Shopping Centre’s, Water Treatment facilities, Industrial process plants, Dam construction and Subdivisions.
Now in his 12th year at TEM Wes has a wealth of experience and has delivered many significant infrastructure projects in North Queensland.
Wes has a proven and reputable track record in leading and managing projects from start to practical completion.
Shane is from Outback Queensland where he did everything from transport & haulage to road construction for local Council’s and Main Roads.
Prior to his supervisory role at TEM, Shane is a first-class final trim grader operator and since joining TEM in 2010 has proven himself as an excellent Site Supervisor who has good team management skills and always delivers quality projects and workmanship.
Through Shane’s strong leadership and commitment to excellence TEM has continued to expand its operations through Western Queensland.
Jack stared with us fresh out of high school as a 17-year-old.
A fast learner who quickly gained the valuable knowledge and skill in the industry to take on responsibility has seen him now progress into a site foreman role.
His leadership, attention to detail and ability to manage subcontractors make him an extremely valued member of our team.
A fully qualified Diesel Mechanic, Jamie’s extensive experience and leadership is invaluable to the day-to-day operation of the business.
Jamie is responsible for coordinating our team of fitters, technicians and apprentices that deliver all services and solutions for plant repairs, breakdowns and routine maintenance.
Bruce has recently joined Townsville Earthmoving as HSEQ Advisor, bringing practical and technical expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs on large-scale construction sites. With a proven track record in managing and optimising certified management systems to improve efficiency and quality while reducing workplace incidents and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Adept at training, auditing and collaborating with workers at all levels to promote a culture of safety and risk management.
In addition to practical industry knowledge from years working in the field, Bruce has also attained formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Training and Assessment, Civil Construction, Social Psychology of Risk, Management Systems Auditing and ICAM Lead Investigator.
